Speciality Coffee And Gluten Free Snacks For Everyone

Our Story.
This is Asher, the son of Jody, one of our co-owners.
At the age of 2, Asher was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. Coeliac Disease is a long term autoimmune disorder that affects the small intestine, causing an intolerance to gluten, mainly found in foods such as wheat, rye and barley.
After 2 years of worry it was a relief to have a diagnosis that could be controlled and they soon realised how big an impact this would have on all of their lives.
At home Coeliac can be catered for, by carefully avoiding gluten in every meal and creating a safe environment. However, finding safe places to eat out that avoided cross contamination, or even had a gluten free option on the menu at all proved incredibly difficult! In some cases even when occasions appeared safe, they later found to their cost that this was not the case.
Years of research on Coeliac disease, and the struggle to find a 100% safe environment to eat and relax in, have given us the inspiration to open our own coffee house.
We will be serving and using only products that are gluten free. This allows us to ensure that we have a 100% gluten free environment, safe from any cross contamination, meaning anyone with Coeliac disease or an intolerance to gluten can relax without any worries, having a free choice of everything on our menu. Going forward we are also going to offer nut and dairy free options so we can provide a fully inclusive menu.
